FarNorth warranties the seal between the two panes of glass in its windows manufactured after Jan. 1, 1999, for 20 years from the original invoice date.

For windows manufactured before Dec. 31, 1998, FarNorth warranties the seal between the two panes of glass in its windows for 10 years from the original invoice date.

For the first two years, labor to replace the foggy window glass on–site is free. After the first two years, regular labor and trip fees apply for at–home glass replacement.

Homeowners can bring their window sashes to Scherer Bros. Lumber Co. in Champlain, where the labor charge to replace the foggy window glass panel will be waived. Customers must call 763–433–3370 before bringing the sash in to ensure parts and availability. The shop opens at 7:00 a.m. and work is completed on a first come, first served basis.
